Meet the Shaper
My name is Jacob Armendariz and im the proud owner, shaper, glasser, painter and sander of Jacobsweg Handshapes. I've been doing the whole process of making surfboards now for about 5 years now and there's nothing I would rather be doing. I was fortunate enough to learn a handful about shaping and sanding from my good friend Jose Santillan and how to glass from one of the best in Argentina, Fede Castillano.
Everything i make is handshaped, no CNC BS. My usual turn around time can vary anywhere between 1 week and 3 weeks depending on how busy I am. You can find all my work, tutorials videos on Instagram.
